In my atelier in Thalwil, I offer a small number of dedicated spaces for hobby potters looking for a welcoming and inspiring place to practise and develop their craft. Designed for those with some prior experience, the studio provides a calm and creative environment where you can continue exploring wheel throwing and pottery at your own pace.

Membership costs CHF 200.- / month.
Included is your own 80 × 30cm dedicated shelf as well as additional shelving space for pieces awaiting the kiln.
It is required to have some experience with wheel-throwing or have at least attended a taster course.

Becoming a member allows you to use the studio up 15 hours a week without reservation.
The studio is unavailable on Mondays and during course times (1-2 weekends a month), otherwise you are free to access the studio at any time that it suits you.

The additional cost of materials is CHF 25.- per kilo of glazed and fired clay.
You have access to my own personal glazes that I make for my own work as well as a variety of commercial glazes and engobes.
All your work is fired for you.

Firing service
Are you working with clay at home but you don’t have access to a kiln? Bring your pieces to the studio so they can be fired for you — CHF 15.- per kilo of clay.
- Only stoneware clay/glazes are fired in the studio.
- Stoneware can also be purchased from the studio for CHF 25.- per 10kg bag.
